APL has been producing quality NMMO in commercial quantities since
1985 and has a competitive and environment friendly process through
closed product circuit with no waste materials. The manufacturing
process to produce NMMO has been developed in-house using indigenous
technology and APL is among the worlds largest producers of NMMO solvent.
Our strength is a high competence in amination and H2O2 oxidation
and we are fully back-integrated in the raw materials required to
produce NMMO. Presently we are working with several companies globally
for the supplies of NMMO solution who are developing processes to
manufacture Viscose Staple Fiber through the Solvent Spun Route
using NMMO-50% solution.
APL has also developed and licensed technology required for the
Recovery, Purification and regeneration of spent NMMO solution with
more than 99% efficiency and has set up on a turnkey basis, a semi-commercial
Solvent Recovery plant for one of the worlds largest Viscose Staple
Fiber producers based on APL's Technology.
